Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP, is a treatment that uses your own blood platelets to stimulate new cell growth to rejuvenate skin texture and complexion. Your blood is taken and spun in a centrifuge, this separates the platelets from the red blood cells. Once separated the platelet rich plasma is then injected into the chosen area. PRP is also used to stimulate hair growth for thinning/balding on the scalp. Multiple treatment sessions are required 4 weeks apart for best results. 6 - 12 monthly appointments are then ideal to maintain optimal results. PDO Threads are a biodegradable synthetic polymer used to tighten the skin as well as improve skin elasticity and texture. The thread is inserted into the sub-dermal layer, once inserted the thread activates the production of collagen which assists in the tightening of the skin and reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. Results can start to be seen at 6 weeks however these will continue to improve over the next 2-6 months. The threads will dissolve and be absorbed by your body however results are visible for up to 12 months.
